What We Believe

Statement of Faith

The Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God.

There is only One True God - revealed in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit ("The Trinity").

Jesus Christ is Deity. As God's son, Jesus is both human and divine.

Man was created innocent but, willingly fell into sin which led his to physical & spiritual death.

EVERY person, regardless of past mistakes and sins, can have a new beginning (salvation) with God by entering into a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord.

Total forgiveness (justification) occurs at salvation and then begins a progressive, lifelong process of drawing closer to God and becoming more and more like Jesus (sanctification).

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a uniquely personal experience following salvation that empowers believers, just as it did in the New Testament.

We expect manifestations of the Holy Spirit as recorded in the Book of Acts. God is the same yesterday, today and forever; therefore all gifts of the Spirit are still available to those who believe.

We baptize by Immersion to publicly honor Christ's gift of salvation and to outwardly demonstrate the inward transformation.

We serve The Lord's Supper (Communion) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's sacrificial death.

The Church is the Body of Christ and consists of those who have a personal relationship with Him and have accepted God's offer of redemption. Christ has commissioned the Church to reach out to the unsaved and offer the gift of God's love and salvation to all who are lost. The church is also responsible for looking after orphans and widows.

The Bible teaches that everyone must commit to reach others for Christ, to worship Him with other believers, and to build up the body of believers, the Church.

Jesus Christ will return to rapture His Church.

Those who have a personal, intimate relationship with Christ will spend eternity in His care; those who do not will face a final judgment and will receive the penalty for their sin....Our greatest desire is to lead multitudes to salvation!
